the hardware //
There are a couple of options available for the handle of these earrings. First up is stainless steel for the handle, making the earrings entirely stainless steel. For the rainbow option, the handles are made with anodized aluminum.

The handles are designed with the chaos theory chainmaille weave (some also call it the candy cane cord). Each one is paired with four chains for the tassels, which are made with stainless steel rings. These tassels are made with the 2 by 2 chainmaille weave. On the bottom of each chain is a clear glass drop bead with a rainbow finish.

On top of this earring design is lever back ear wires (stainless steel). Which are great for both standard piercings and stretched lobes. Custom requests are welcome for changing the ear wires to another style (such as the common French hook).

The total length of these flogger earrings is 4 1/4 inches, and that's from top of the ear wires to the bottom of the longest tassel chain. For the drop length, which is below the ear wire, they are 3 5/8 inches. Just the handle is 1 3/8 inches long, and the longest tassel (with the bead) is 2 1/4 inches.
